She didn't even hesitate with her answer, "When my children were young and at home."
From that time on Mr. Nomad and I realized this fact: Although these days can be exhausting, these are the good ole days. We are making the memories that will sustain us in our twilight years.
What do you think is the best stage of life?
That is the best stage! Unfortunately, we are so busy and sometimes harried during that stage that we don't realize it's the best til it's over. So work at enjoying all the moments in the moment. I am enjoying this stage of life too...the freedom. Grandma stage will be great too! I guess we need to thoroughly enjoy each stage we're in!
ReplyDeleteBarb,
ReplyDeleteI think that is the trick. Each stage has something beautiful and wonderful in store for us. I'm so excited for you as you enter this next stage. My mother in law says being a grandma is even better than mom!
Right now. Has to be right now, where ever that is.
ReplyDeleteI agree, right now. Life is a gift, best lived in the present.
ReplyDeleteI agree that whatever stage of life you are at is the best stage. Enjoy and be thankful for the moment. Tomorrow is not promised to us so we need to live the moment. BTW, love the look of your blog!
ReplyDeleteSo far I don't think I have a favorite stage...but I'll keep you posted. I think there are things that I love...and strongly don't like...about each stage. What I think is that I've learned is that there are few "loves" few "strongly dislikes" and most falls in between those two but I'm really learning to enjoy the in betweens, there is growth and blessings there also.
ReplyDeleteGood thoughts abound here, both in the post and the comments.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an answer...
