I am an Air Force wife and mother of three precious gifts from God. I enjoy learning at home with my children, and the many adventures this life sends our way. So stop by often to visit, and check out what the Five Nomads are up to.
Mary, I share your opinion of snow. For some strange reason, this time I am enjoying it. Maybe because I know it will be gone in a few days. Maybe because they aren't used to snow here, so everything was cancelled. . .no crazy driving for me. Maybe I was open to the joy of my children. I don't know, but it has been a fun couple of days.
Ooooo you look snow good in that color;) I think its that all the years I've been telling you how wonderful winter truly is, has finally started to sway you.
To protect my children, I have chosen pseudonyms for my blog.
The General, my oldest commanded his own army back in DC. He is a take charge kind of boy, so it fits.
Princess was the first word out of my husband's mouth when he first laid eyes on our beautiful little girl.
Bubby was ginormous when he was born, and oh was he a fatso! At first I wasn't sure his name fit him, so I called him Tubby Bubby.
The General
The first one to call me mommy. He is a take charge kind of guy. He heads up his own army of neighborhood boys.
Princess
Her beautiful spirit has taught me to be much softer and more gentle in my mothering.
Bubby
The icing on our cake!
Attitude
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company. . .a church. . .a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. . .we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. . .I am convinced life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. . .we are in charge of our Attitudes." Charles Swindoll
Oh, Thanks for letting me see! You can keep it though and send pictures. I like to look, not drive in it.

ReplyDeleteIt could be. You have switched from being a cat lover to big dogs, so I guess it is possible that I could be appreciating winter.
