Pray for our airmen & their families.

There was a plane crash in Alaska last night. You can read more about it here. I've heard from my friend who is stationed there, and her husband is fine. The guilty fine that is. "Whew, it wasn't my friend," just doesn't bring a lot of comfort.

This one hits close to home. Mr. Nomad spends a significant amount of time in the sky, so I can only imagine how hard this is for these families. Please pray for them.

  1. Oh, Tami, I will pray. My hubby used to fly on WWII era planes from Hawaii to Australia in the late 1980s. Engine trouble was a constant problem on those old planes and I used to think that everytime he left he might not return. It is hard to be a spouse of a service man. (Or woman)

  2. The crazy thing is the C-17 is the latest and greatest. In over 18 years, this is the first one to crash.

  4. Flying in Alaska has been dangerous lately. Very sorry for those men and their families.
